One Mission.
Lifelong
Change.

Youth leadership programs delivered by ex-military mentors who bring discipline, respect and structure back into young lives.

At Veteran Mentors, we help young Australians and families rebuild confidence, accountability and purpose through unique programs.

Each is designed to reset behaviours, strengthen resilience and re-establish respect.

These programs are not quick fixes. They are deliberate interventions built on leadership, accountability, and follow-through.

Real Mentors. Real Discipline. Real Results.

Our programs are run by ex Defence Force veterans. People who understand what discipline, teamwork and leadership really mean.

We don’t sugar-coat the process. Transformation takes structure, accountability and courage.

That’s what we deliver.

Every Transformation Starts with Action.

Both pathways are deliberate. Both are designed to create lasting change.

Junior Leader Program

9 Days. A Lifetime of Change.

The Junior Leader Program is the reset.

For young people aged 12-17.

A 9-day military-style residential program designed to break patterns, re-establish standards, and rebuild mindset.

This program will build discipline, respect, and resilience through structured training, team challenges, and one-on-one mentorship from ex-service personnel.

Many families return more than once, recognising that leadership and personal growth are strengthened through consistent standards, repetition and continued challenge.

Key Outcomes

  • Reset behaviour and establish accountability
  • Build resilience under physical and mental challenge
  • Improve communication and respect at home
  • Develop leadership through responsibility
  • Leave with clarity, discipline, and direction

Reconnection Expedition

Rebuild. Reconnect. Move Forward.

The Reconnection Expedition is available at any stage.

A 2.5-day outdoor expedition for a parent or carer and their young person.

Away from schedules, screens and everyday noise.

It’s a guided experience to strengthen trust, communication and shared purpose between parent/carer and young person.

Some families start here to strengthen communication and resilience before entering the JLP. Others use it to consolidate growth and reconnect with greater respect and understanding.

Key Outcomes

  • Strengthen parent–teen communication under pressure
  • Re-establish clear roles, expectations, and boundaries at home
  • Build resilience together through shared challenge
  • Develop practical tools for ongoing accountability
  • Reconnect with renewed respect, clarity, and direction
